About

Hal is an experienced contemporary dancer and physical theatre performer
He has toured Nationally in the UK, the USA and Australia
He has a passion for performing and is experienced on stage, in the street and in site specific work
 
Hal teaches contemporary classes, ballet classes and contact workshops covering company classes and outreach for the companies he works for. He also teaches in higher education and teaches adult/professional classes for dance agencies including Plymouth Dance and others. He has taught in the UK, Europe, America and Australia.
He also teaches frequently for ZoieLogic Dance Theatre running workshops and creating exciting pieces for primary, secondary, university and at risk students.
 
Hal is a keen choreographer and collaborator. His most recent project is an intriguing research into climate change which has twice been supported by Dance City, Newcastle. An exerpt of which was recently performed at the 30th year celebration of Dr. Ross Mckim being the Artistic Director of Rambert School. Among others, he has also worked on a dance film made on Wandsworth roundabout.
 
Hal trained at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, Graduating in 2010 with First Class Honours and receiving the Charlotte Kirkpatrick award for potentail in 2009.
He completed his post-graduate diploma at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, joining Verve 11. For tour details and more professional experience click here
 
Aside from dance Hal is interested in personal training and nutrition which he is currently studying a short course in.
 
He is a keen musician with experience on drums, bass guitar and piano.
 
He also works as a childrens entertainer for Beanstalk Kidz parties
